F.A.Q.

The festival will take place in the areas of Forest Park known as Langenberg Field and The Boat House. Langenberg Field is located at 5620 Grand Drive (directly behind the Dwight Davis Tennis Center). The Boat House is located at 6101 Government Drive.

The festival location is centrally located in Forest Park:
  • South of the Missouri History Museum and The Dwight Davis Tennis Center
  • Northwest of the Muny
  • Northeast of the Art Museum and the
  • North of the World’s Fair Pavilion

  • Cell phones & small portable chargers
  • Standard-sized lawn chairs and camping chairs
  • Sunscreen (non-aerosol only)
  • One (1) factory-sealed bottle of water (36 oz max size) OR one (1) empty plastic refillable water bottle (sorry, no hydroflasks, Yeti’s or any metal containers allowed) per person
  • Beach towels & light blankets
  • Hats & Sunglasses
  • Small, point-and-shoot digital cameras (sorry, no larger cameras or detachable lenses)
  • Ear plugs
  • Factory sealed packages of cigarettes or cigars
  • E-cigarettes and vape pens

Fan and working staff safety is far and away our #1 concern, so we will be fully enforcing this list of prohibited items at all times with elevated security measures.. Evolution Festival reserves the right to add additional items to this list at any time.
  • No weapons of any kind
  • No large bags, backpacks, or duffle bags (see bag policy details in specific FAQ)
  • No coolers or picnic baskets
  • No outside food or beverages (Exceptions are one (1) factory-sealed bottle of water (20oz max) or medically necessary food items)
  • No oversized chairs of any kind, at the discretion of our security team. Lawn chairs will be available for rent inside the festival site.
  • No drugs or drug paraphernalia
  • No pets, with the exception of documented certified service animals (proof of certification required)
  • No fireworks or explosives
  • No chains, chain wallets, or spikes
  • No selfie sticks
  • No umbrellas
  • No drones
  • No camelbaks, hydration packs, Yeti’s or hydroflasks
  • No glass containers of any kind
  • No strollers
  • No video cameras, gopro’s, or professional cameras with removable lenses
  • No audio recording devices
  • No laptops or tablets
  • No lasers or laser pointers
  • No hula hoops, totems, or glow sticks
  • No aerosol cans
  • No whistles or air horns
  • No musical instruments
  • No colors or patches
  • No walkie talkies or two-way radios
  • No oversized chairs or other seating options
  • No metal drinking containers

Free, public parking is located throughout Forest Park and surrounding areas.

We STRONGLY encourage the use of rideshare apps and taxis for the festival. There will be a designated and secure location near the main festival entrance for all rideshare and taxi drop offs/pick ups. Please check back for more information closer to the festival dates.

The festival is an ALL AGES event. All attendees are required to purchase a full-price festival ticket, regardless of age.

Re-entry into the festival will NOT be permitted. Once a fan enters the festival site each day, they will NOT be allowed to leave and return, so please plan accordingly. For anyone who has to leave due to emergency, please speak to our security supervisors at the entry gates.

In the event of any necessary evacuations of the festival site (weather-related or otherwise), festival producers reserve the right to allow re-entry in such instances.

Evolution Festival is a Rain or Shine event. HOWEVER, there are certain instances in which the festival may be paused, evacuated, or canceled due to inclement weather. These instances may include but are not limited to severe thunderstorms, lightning, excessive wind, hail, excessive rain and/or flooding, tornadoes, or any other instance where a pause, evacuation, or cancellation is directed by local emergency personnel.

The festival will have a trained meteorologist on-site to monitor any inclement weather in real time who will also be in direct contact with the National Weather Service.

In the event of any festival evacuation, all exits and emergency exits will be highly visible to fans. In such an instance, the festival recommends that fans (a) return to their vehicle if they drove to the festival, or (b) locate and safely make way to any open permanent structure within Forest Park. Stay tuned to the festival social media pages and app for real time updates as to when it is safe to return to the festival site.

Festival gates will open at 2:00pm each day, subject to the occurrence of any last minute delays.

Stage performance schedules will be listed on the Line Up page of the festival website approximately 30 days prior to the festival. Stage performance schedules are always subject to change.

Yes, standard-sized lawn chairs and camping chairs will be allowed. However, for the safety of all fans entering the festival, any oversized seating options will NOT be allowed in. Lawn chairs will be available for rent inside the festival for $10 per day and will ensure faster entry into the event (limited quantities, while supplies last). Light blankets and beach towels will also be allowed into the festival. Please note that all items are subject to search at any time.

No outside coolers or storage containers of any size will be allowed at the festival. No outside beverages or food will be allowed at the festival, WITH THE EXCEPTION of one (1) factory sealed water bottle (36 oz max) or one (1) empty plastic refillable water bottle per fan, and medically necessary food per fan.

We encourage all fans to only bring essential personal belongings with them to the festival. VIP ticket purchasers will have access to lockers for rent in the VIP area (limited quantities, while supplies last). The festival will not be held responsible for any lost or stolen items.

ATM’s will be located in designated areas within the festival site. We encourage all fans to utilize credit and/or debit cards whenever possible.

If you have a unique product or service that you would like to showcase at the Evolution Festival, please contact vendor sales here.

Fans are allowed to bring their medically necessary materials and medications into the festival, provided any such medicine has a prescription label with the fan’s name. Medications that need to be inhaled or smoked are prohibited unless they are contained in a prescribed inhaler. Other illegal drugs of any kind are strictly prohibited.

Fans that have a special medical dietary restriction only will be allowed to bring enough food for the day for that individual into the festival. Evolution Festival will have food purchase options available that are vegetarian, vegan, lactose-free, and peanut-free.

Security staff at the entry gates will verify the contents of any medically necessary materials. For the safety of our entire security and grounds staff, please dispose of any medical waste and syringes in the proper disposal containers located in the Medical Tents. PLEASE DO NOT DISPOSE OF THESE ITEMS IN OTHER TRASH OR RECYCLING BINS AT THE FESTIVAL.

Yes, breastfeeding mothers can come to the Info Booth near the main entrance of the festival site. It is not a completely private area, so be prepared with any cover needed to feel comfortable. You may bring special items necessary to pump (pump, small soft-sided cooler, ice packs, cover garment) into the site, however Evolution Festival is not responsible for any lost or damaged items.

Evolution Festival discourages fans from bringing bags into the festival. If a bag is necessary, please abide by our bag policy below. Note: all items are subject to search at any time.
